Carolyn's Works of Art

Working with Carolyn was great because I hadn't previous gotten a chance to interact with her. I didn't know much about her personality or what she liked, so once we settled in, we talked for a bit before Carolyn picked up the markers.

She wasn't too interested in the storytelling aspect of things, though she basically knows her letters and spelled her name when I asked.

Carolyn is clearly more of an artist. As I watched her draw whimsical interpretations of herself with a snowman, she inspired me: Yes, "We Are Storytellers" is the name of this project, but why shut out any type of talent? Just because an individual doesn't want to write a story doesn't mean their drawings can't tell a story.

You can buy coffee table books of artist's prints, and I think Carolyn's art definitely belongs in a book.

  1. You could write a book about the people you interact with and share their stories and drawings!

    1. I would LOVE to do that! They inspire me so much.

Questions, ideas, and feedback of all kinds are appreciated!
